I needed to replace the existing shade because the backing cast a very yellow color under the shade which was white when unlit.
The Lux Lampshade is white when lit! Huge difference!

I looked all over the internet and at retailers in NYC and could not find the exact size drum shade until I discovered Lux Lamp Shades. So happy that I did. These shades allow to much more light to illuminate the living room than the original lamp shades that were beige.
