What is a Euro Fitting and how to find a replacement shade?

Euro – Similar to the American Uno, this is Europeanstye lampshade fitting. Usually found on smaller table lamps. No harp is needed as the wire fitting is permanently attached to the shade. The shade attaches directly to the lamp socket below the light bulb.

There are lots of Euro lamp socket sizes on the market and it is very hard to replace a lampshade if you don't know what size fitting is needed.  With different light bulbs in use, a bulb clip is not an easy solution.

To solve this problem, we created a new fitting to go over your lamp socket.  We recently received a confirmation that we have been awarded a patent for this fitting and we hope you will check our new line of shades using this new patented ring and socket adapter. 

For now, we are introducing some snow linen shades that are 5" x 12" x 9".  We will be adding some popular woven paper and other shade materials in the near future.  Each shade is made with our hex ring that fits over our phenolic fitting. By creating our new fitting, we are hoping to make it easy and affordable to dress up your desk lamp or change a shade on virtually any lamp in your house.  

Most people don't want to spend the time or money to buy a custom shade if the lamp is a mass market lamp.  With this fitting, we can help you change the shade on any lamp from a basic antique to a Walmart, Target or Lowe's lamp.  Because we are in the replacement shade business, we know that changing a shade changes the look and feel of your room.
