FABRIC | SILK
Style, fabric and finishing combine to make all the difference in a lampshade. These COM shades are made with Fortuny silk, and they bring an exciting visual presence to your room when the light is on or off.
Fortuny still produces their fabrics by hand on the island of Giudecca in Venice, in the original factory, on the original machines, using the same secret processes as developed by Mariano Fortuny over a century ago.
CRAFTSMANSHIP | SHIRRED
Lux Lampshades are handcrafted using traditional, labor-intensive manufacturing techniques using fine fabrics, 11-gauge copper fittings, sturdy backings and the fullest pleats possible. Each pleat is meticulously folded for optimal contrast. All shades are self-trimmed with applied ¼” bands, top and bottom.
