FABRIC | PAPER

We use a sturdy watermarked off white paper that is laminated on 14 pt. polystyrene.

CRAFTSMANSHIP | PLEATS

Lux Lampshades are handcrafted using traditional, labor intensive manufacturing techniques. These shades are self-trimmed with applied ¼” bands, top and bottom.

I ordered a pair of custom shades using an ikat silk sari my husband bought on a business trip to India. A lamp shop in my city could not work with the fabric. Not only did Lux Lampshades craft professional shades from my sari, they delivered them quicker than promised in time for my return from a safari vacation. I felt it was my birthday all over again! Thank you. The only thing I'd improve is communication after I place the order. I would have liked some acknowledgement that the order was placed and a specialist would be following up with me to confirm the details of my order.
